i’ve been on vacation the last two days.

and i so do not want to go back on monday. thank god i still have saturday and sunday to enjoy.

and thank god for the nice, beautiful weather we’ve had the last two days: 70-something yesterday and almost 80 today. bright, sunny, cheerful weather is exactly what i needed. my house is so comfy and inviting when the sunlight streams into the sunroom. what better way to spend the afternoon than to watch my dogs curled up together, sleeping in the path of a sunbeam?

it’s nice to find joy in the little things. it’s un-exhausting. it’s very peaceful.

as long as i don’t let myself think about work, i’ll be just fine.
