and you know what that means.

it’s birthday month. my mom’s birthday was september 3, my brother’s is september 11, my great-aunt’s is september 13, and mine is september 29. my grandma johnson’s would have been september 16. i still have it marked on my calendar. she would have been 85 this year.

i can’t believe it’s september already. i haven’t even started my christmas shopping yet. i’m normally well on my way by this time of the year.

this month always feels so hectic because there’s so much going on. i’m taking a few days off next week so hopefully i can unwind a little bit. i need to learn how to relax.
