Still here

I have really neglected this blog for the last few years.

It’s not that there hasn’t been anything to say; it’s that I find it really difficult to publish much of anything online anymore. Not to mention the fact that I don’t have any readers anyway.

But just in case someone stumbles across this…

Josh and I are doing well. His health continues to be excellent after the transplant, with the exception of some occasional fatigue and the ease with which he catches colds now. He still has cancer checkups every four months for the foreseeable future.

We are in the process of relocating from NC to GA, and it has most definitely not been fun. But the light is at the end of the tunnel, and if all goes well, we’ll be closing on our new house at the end of this month. Josh started a new job–with the same company but in a different division–a few weeks ago, which is why we had to relocate. I started a new job with my same company last October. I work remotely, so luckily there was no issue with us relocating for Josh’s job. And I love, love, love my job and my team. That definitely helps alleviate some of the stress of selling a house and moving.

Winston is doing well. He’ll be 10 in October, but he still plays like a puppy. The new house we are buying has a tiny yard, but there are lots of places to take him on walks around the neighborhood.

We have lots of nieces and/or nephews who will be born in NC this year, and additional announcements of more babies wouldn’t surprise me (Josh has a lot of brothers and sisters). So we hope to visit NC regularly to spend time with family and friends.

Life is hectic but good, and we are reminded of our blessings each and every day.
