i am cautiously optimistic.

ha! who am i kidding? i’m never optimistic.

but i digress.

it appears that the bank of america bill pay fiasco is fixed. i can actually see my payees and scheduled payments now, and two more payments went out today.

i am still holding my breath because most of the big bills — mortgage, utilities, insurance, etc. — go out the first week of every month. so i’ll breathe easier after november 6th or 7th…or so.

in the meantime, i’m entering all of my payees into splash ID like i should have done a long time ago. and i’m taking other online banking demos for a spin. if this fiasco has taught me anything, it’s that i should definitely have a back up in mind and be ready to move.
